GriD architects, p.c. Information

GriD Architects is an award-winning architecture firm creating buildings inextricably tied to place and designed for people. Our work spans modern luxury office buildings to mixed-use developments, commercial spaces, institutional projects, and residential buildings. While aesthetically diverse, each project reflects its surroundings and is elevated by the people who inhabit it. Rooted in Place Based in Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, with projects across the nation, we begin every design with an immersive exploration of context—both regional and local. We study topography, climate, program, culture, and our clients' aspirations to uncover each site's found potential. This deep understanding catalyzes our process and creates buildings that are resilient, inevitable, and timeless. Design Excellence in Every Detail Design—solving complex problems beautifully—is at the core of everything we do. From initial proposals to construction documents, from handrail details to master planning strategies, we strive for work that is beautifully conceived, resolved, and executed. Our commitment to innovation and design excellence has earned us 26 awards in 7 years.
