Grid Aero is developing a family of autonomous, long-range, multi-role aircraft for defense and commercial missions. Our Lifter family combines shared airframe design principles with a common autonomy stack and manufacturing foundation. This approach is designed to reduce development and support complexity across aircraft sizes, while open interfaces and modular payloads support new mission configurations as technologies and needs evolve. We design for production and the demands of the field. Proven materials, familiar manufacturing methods, and systems designed for straightforward maintenance support scalable production and reduce reliance on specialized infrastructure. Our mission is to make long-range airpower and logistics more affordable and widely available, strengthening defense operations and making commercial air cargo viable on more routes and to more locations.
