Grice Consulting Group Information

Grice Consulting Group is responsible for overall on-call ITS services for the City of Virginia Beach. Grice Consulting Group is providing day-to-day research, planning and analysis of systems to operate the current systems. In addition, Grice Consulting Group is contributing to the advancement of the City's ITS initiatives. Responsibilities include the development of concept reports and performing analyses to implement ITS technologies to mitigate the impact of traffic congestion on surface streets in Virginia Beach. Grice Consulting Group is also assisting Virginia Beach with developing a Citywide ITS Business plan. The plan focuses on integrating existing and proposed technologies within the Virginia Beach Traffic Management Center (TMC). Grice Consulting Group is assisting Virginia Beach with the development of requirements and operations of new Traffic Management Center (TMC) facilities. Grice Consulting Group is developing assessment reports to enhance the system operation with new functions and technologies; and developing the Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for system components such as the closed-circuit television (CCTV), highway advisory radio (HAR), changeable message signs (CMS) and detection systems.
