They have worked together since HP in 1983. Steve has over 25 years of executive management and marketing experience, with particular success building distinctive, fast-growth technology companies. Steve was an early convert to cleantech, and helped make Serious Materials one of the hottest firms in green building materials as its vice president of marketing. Since then, he has consulted with cleantech firms including Aspen Aerogels, Lunera, Xicato, Icynene, ARXX and Hycrete. Earlier in his career, Steve worked at IBM, HP, Ingres (CA), Neuron Data (Fair Isaac) and Central Point, starting in IBMs computer research labs before focusing on marketing, business development and management starting in 1984. Steve has a Masters and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from MIT. Chris has over 25 years of executive management, marketing and business development experience. Chris brings a strong combination of strategic perspective with hands-on operating expertise. Chris has consulted with numerous software and internet companies ranging from seed stage to public companies. He has delivered results across multiple technology and market sectors including cloud, SAAS, payments, enterprise and PC software, online video, digital media, network management and e-commerce. Prior to Grey Heron, Chris was VP/GM at fast-growing Symantec, doubling revenues of one of the product groups. Before that, Chris had ten years of increasing responsibility as an HP marketing executive, pioneering new products including the first HP laser printer, HPs first PC, as well as software and third-party programs. Chris has an MBA from Columbia University in marketing and international business. .
