The purpose of the Greenwich Roundtable® (GR) organization is to provide education about new styles of investing. Our mission is to advise and inform our members and Limited Partners, as well as to create a Code of Best Practices for the alternative investment industry from the investors' perspective. Members are institutional and private investors. Symposium attendance is limited to members and their guests. Speakers define complex issues, analyze risks, reveal opportunities, and share their outlook on the future. The content and direction of the GR is set by its Board of Trustees. The GR is a not for profit research and education organization. It is operated by its staff and its committees in the spirit of an intellectual cooperative for its members and the alternative investment community at large. GR symposia are held at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut. The Underwriters' Council provides the resources and funding for morning symposia, where leading practitioners of investment philosophy and wealth creation express their points of view. Morning symposia are typically held monthly. The Founder’s Council sessions are evening symposia, which primarily examine issues of process and ethics. Evening symposia are typically held four times a year. The Greenwich Roundtable® Best Practices Series, published by the Research Council, is a series published annually with the purpose of helping investors understand investing in alternatives by providing insights from some of the most deeply respected experts in their respective fields.
