Our unique land-based approach carries 100% of the financial and performance-based risk to successfully deliver mitigation—allowing our clients, both public and private, to focus on their core business with certainty of cost and schedule. Our clients appreciate the fact that, as developers, we uniquely understand the importance of cash flow and timelines, technical and regulatory hurdles, programmatic directives, and political mandates. As an innovative and effective P3 (Public Private Partnerships) solution provider, GV uses private sector capital to acquire, restore, and preserve land containing impaired ecological systems. GV routinely aggregates funds, including grants, to help offset project costs. We help our clients leverage financial resources by creating effective partnerships and generating revenue. Our proud record of success includes 10 mitigation banks (approved or pending) and more than 65 full-delivery resilient restoration/mitigation projects pending, approved, or in the ground. GV has led or assisted in the acquisition of over 48,000 acres of land rights, and the preservation and restoration of over 50 miles of stream channels. Our work has prevented millions of pounds of sediment and associated nutrients from reaching sensitive aquatic systems from the Barnegat Bay to the Chesapeake Bay, resulting in significant water quality, habitat quality, and quality of life improvements.
