Compost Crew is a locally-owned organics recycling business that offers simple, clean, and convenient composting to thousands of businesses, organizations and residential customers throughout Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington D.C. These services are part of our mission to protect the planet, reduce waste and build community wealth. We are committed to recovering compostable waste, reducing dependence on landfills and incinerators, and revitalizing our soils. We won’t compromise on that commitment or cut corners.
Biobag comes from a profound driving force to do better as soon as we know better. With the serious climate challenges we face today, we can no longer afford to change culture and behaviour slowly. Consequently, we are driven to make people, businesses, municipalities, and even governments more active, conscious, and deliberate when it comes to making small adjustments for the greater good of the bioeconomy. Our overall purpose at Biobag is to create actual behaviour that will have the biggest environmental impact possible.
We bring to market compostable and biodegradable products for waste management, food services, retail, industrial applications, agriculture, and any industry that, like us, wants to do better by the environment.
Biobag is part of Novamont Group, which is proud to be a Certified B Corp™.
The New York Planning Federation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1937 to serve municipal zoning and planning boards and the planning community. We provide educational programs that satisfy the state mandated requirements for board member training. Many of our programs also provide credit for code enforcement officers and certified planners. We also offer informative publications on comprehensive planning, zoning and planning board education and offer technical assistance to local boards.
Membership is open to everyone from individuals to municipalities and professional firms. Municipal dues are assessed according to population, while other pay a flat annual fee.
