We started GreenSteam back in 2007 as two machine learning PhDs from the Technical University of Denmark. Growing up in the Faroe Islands means growing next to the ocean and next to lots of big ships of various kinds. So it was only natural that we would end up combining the machine learning experience and skills that we later acquired with a desire to somehow help improve shipping. Today, together with our growing team of experts in shipping, machine learning and software development, and supported by shareholders that understand the power of this combination, we provide services that help shipping companies make their operations more efficient. These services include fouling analysis and trim optimization, with many more on the way as we grow together with our customers. We are only at the beginning of seeing the power of machine learning to optimize and transform shipping and are very happy to be pioneers at the forefront of this transformation.
