Greenlight Apparel is an active lifestyle clothing brand with a social mission. Not only are our products made from recycled materials, we donate 25% of our profits to microfinance and children education programs in underprivileged communities. Giving back is at the core of our philosophy. Since we started we’ve been giving back and getting better at giving back – learning about what works and what has the most impact. Our findings can best be summed up by the age-old proverb ‘give a [wo]man a fish and [s]he will eat for a day, teach him [or her] how to fish and he [or she] will eat for a lifetime.’ With that in mind we focus our giving on two Wear it for Good initiatives: micro-finance and education.
