Greenland Foods Company is a community-leading company in the Korean-American food industry. In 1976, Dai Woo Meat Company was established and was the starting point for today's Greenland Foods Company. In 1991, we changed our name to Greenland Foods Company to reflect the addition of fresh produce and other food products to our business. In 2005, we opened our 100,000 square foot main warehouse and headquarters and relocated to Vernon, California. In that year, our sales volume hit over $100 Million. Greenland team members are working hard to put fresh food on the tables of each household. Greenland employs over 370 employees working with pride to operate a business that thinks about the consumer first. Friendly business is our company motto. Since its establishment in 1976, we have been striving to expand business in the mainstream US market and in international trade. We overcame the obstacle of opening our third market during a recession in 2009, and successfully established a customer base in spite of the slow business economy. Greenland supplies safe and fresh food to American households.
