GreenJungle is an educational resource web site for investors. At GreenJungle, you will find original articles about investing and money, information about other educational resources, recommended reading, Web links and more. GreenJungle is produced by: Peter W. Johnson, Jr. Peter received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Adminsitration/Finance from the University of Santa Clara in 1979, graduating first in his class. He also received the Personal Financial Planner designation in 1986. He is registered with the State of California as a Registered Investment Advisor. Peter has maintained an independent advisory practice since May of 1990 in Sunnyvale, California. Previously, Peter spent ten years in the Securities industry working as an account executive at various brokerage firms, and with Benham Mutual Funds. He has had a strong interest in computers since childhood, building his first binary computer at age 12. In July, 1995 he began developing his company web site. He currently hosts two separate home sites on his web server: GreenJungle, and AdvisorWorks. GreenJungle is a free-access web site, dedicated to the education of individual investors. AdvisorWorks is a private on-line community for investment professionals to share information and ideas for enhancing advisors' practices and discussing unusual case problems. Peter's expertise in technology and computers has led him to prominence as a financial industry writer and speaker covering technical matters as they relate to the investment industry, with an emphasis on using the Internet. He is a columnist for the Journal of Financial Planning and the Financial Advisory Practice magazines. He has spoken at national, regional and local financial industry conferences and events all over the country.
