Al Rawabi Dairy Company is the largest local based dairy in the UAE, both in production capacity and herd size. Al Rawabi started out with 500 imported cows from Holland in 1989, and today proudly holds a herd of 13,000 cows, out of which 8,000 are milking cows. The farm is located in Dubai, UAE and it is equipped with a showering and cooling system for the cows, a high edge environmental system, that was awarded with many local and international recognition. The company produces 275,000 liters of dairy products every single day and 150,000 liters of juices. At peak times and 100% capacity, the production can reach half a million litre of dairy and juice products per a day. Innovation is at the core of the company thinking – Al Rawabi first introduced the plastic bottles in 1991 in GCC, first introduced pasteurized juices, and is the first company to launch functional products - such as Nutree Boost, Super Milk and Vitamin D milk. All of the products have been developed to address burning health issues of the GCC region, particularly the overall presence of Vitamin D deficiency.
