Green Ribbon Club Information

Green Ribbon Club™ is a 501(c)(3) student-run non-profit that is committed to ending the social stigma surrounding mental illness in order to encourage communities to utilize local public health resources, with the ultimate goal of mitigating the rising number of suicides in the United States. Our goal is to create a unified network of clubs across the United States so that we may spread mental health awareness, reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, and ultimately mitigate increasing suicide rates. In time, we hope to use our movement to gain additional funding and research for mental health, with the hope to further mitigate the number of suicides in the country. We see each volunteer in our movement as an equal, committed to our mission by their own desire for change. We uphold honesty, authenticity, and inclusiveness as our highest values. We're united against a struggle affecting all of us, regardless of our politics, race, income-level, ethnicity, or culture.
