Green Point Consulting Information

Green Point Consulting (GPC) provides scientific decision support for coastal wetland restoration and conservation in Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. Our project focus is dual-scale: at the federal, state and basin scale, GPC directs research and provides technical expertise to government agencies, tribes, and private organizations to assist in strategic planning for estuarine and freshwater wetland conservation and restoration. At the site scale, GPC designs and implements coastal wetland restoration projects, including effectiveness monitoring programs to evaluate project results and provide accountability for restoration investments. GPC leads multidisciplinary teams that are implementing and monitoring Oregon’s largest estuarine wetland restoration projects. In association with these on-the-ground projects, GPC coordinates and conducts research to improve restoration science and meet the information needs of coastal wetland restoration practitioners.
