Green Beetz is a NYC-based non-profit organization that empowers middle schoolers with critical thinking skills to navigate the modern food system and to make healthier food choices for their bodies, their communities, and for the planet. Our STEM-based, Common Core-aligned curriculum utilizes innovative media techniques and hands-on activities to make learning about the intersection between healthy and sustainable eating fun. Green Beetz is one of the few programs nationwide that emphasizes how what you eat -- and where it comes from -- makes a big impact on both our bodies and on the environment. Drawing on our team’s expertise in children’s education and development, entertainment, and the culinary arts, Green Beetz' holistic and immersive approach engages kids in and out of the classroom, setting them up to make healthier decisions for their bodies and the planet, for life.
