An evidence-based charitable organization, our mission at Roots of Empathy (and its sibling - Seeds of Empathy) is to build caring, peaceful, and civil societies through the development of empathy in children and adults. Our vision is to change the world - child by child.

Everyday Democracy is a capacity building organization that provides technical assistance to individuals and groups working to build multiracial democracies within their local communities. We do this by providing training, coaching, and tools with a racial equity lens to support place-based engagement for community-led solutions.

The National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD) is an active network of 700 organizations and individuals who bring people together across divides to discuss, decide, and act together on today's toughest challenges. NCDD serves as a gathering place, a resource center, a news source, and a facilitative leader for an active community of practice centered around the practices of dialogue and deliberation.
