Great American Craft Fairs, formerly Collete Productions, was started by Thelma Collete in Reno, NV in the 1960s. Originally an outdoor show at the new Park Lane Mall and indoors at the Reno Towne Mall in Reno. Collete with partner Jeff Denison added a second show in Graeagle, CA in 1971. The Graeagle Arts & Crafts Fair was a huge success and it wasn’t long before a second show needed to be added a months later to handle the excess traffic. Under Jeff and Bridgette Zunino-Denison’s leadership, indoor shows were added in both Reno and Las Vegas, NV throughout the 1980s and 90s. In 2019, Brighton Denison added The Great American Craft Fair in Reno, NV. This event has grown to feature an automobile exhibit, food truck garden and 4th of July Parade. Great American Craft Fairs now proudly produces handmade by the artist only shows in Reno, Sparks, Virginia City, Truckee and Graeagle.
