The high expense of college tuition has resulted in food and housing insecurity among 56% of US college students. 2.2M students are homeless and 3.8M students are both food and housing insecure each year. Gray Kea’s vision is to reduce financial stress through sustainable alumni giving. We aim to connect students in need to the alumni of their university since alumni will easily understand the financial stress that most students at US universities face, and will be motivated to help students from their alma mater succeed.
