Gravity Zone was founded in January 2013 with a plan to open in September of the same year. The company was founded by 4 local parents who wanted to provide the Mornington Peninsula, and surrounding communities, with a fun place to come and exercise with friends and family. The idea evolved after realising that the Mornington Peninsula needed a community hub. The idea grew and the dream became a reality in June of 2013 when building commenced. After many trips to other international trampoline parks, the vision of Gravity Zone offering the community a state of the art Trampoline Park came alive. Gravity Zone opened its doors in September 2013 and quickly became a popular venue for families in the community to come and defy gravity. Our community orientated venue drew crowds from all around, as word spread about the innovative trampoline park that offered entertainment to all members of the community. Boasting record numbers in its first month of operation, Gravity Zone was enjoyed by people of all ages from the little leapers to extreme sports enthusiast and become home to over 100 staff team members. Those that came to Gravity Zone enjoyed the freedom of the free jump zone, the competitiveness of the dodgeball zone, the challenge of the slam zone, the air time at the pro zone and the soft landing of the foam zone. The little leapers enjoyed their own playground and mini trampoline area. Many in the first month were lucky enough to host a party, or celebration, in one of our dedicated party rooms where they had a Gravity Zone Party host to ensure they had an awesome experience. Unfortunately exactly 1 month into Gravity Zone's existence the building suffered a fire on the 4th October 2013. The entire building suffered fire, smoke or water damage and all the trampoline zones were destroyed leaving not only those directly involved, but the whole community, devastated. At this point the entire community and its surrounds provided incredible support and positives thoughts and words as the 4 directors promised to re-build. The whole building suffered fire, smoke or water damage and all trampoline zones were destroyed leaving not only those directly involved but the whole community devastated. The owners kept their word and just 6 months after the fire Gravity Zone re-opened their doors during March 2014 with an even bigger variety of trampolines available. Gravity Zone continues to be dedicated to providing the community with a world class trampoline and entertainment facility. We know you will enjoy your adventure filled visit with us.
