The GranTerre Group is one of the main Italian companies in the production and marketing of cured meats and cheeses and was born from the aggregation of two historical realities of the Italian agribusiness, Grandi Salumifici Italiani S.p.A. and Parmareggio S.p.A., by Unibon S.p.A. and Consorzio Granterre s.c.a.. Unibon S.p.A. is owned by major cooperatives engaged in financially supporting the development of entrepreneurial projects in the territory, Consorzio Granterre is one of the most important producers' organizations in the national dairy sector with about 700 farms. The Group is based in Modena. Although the Group is newly established, the companies that constitute it have distinguished themselves on the market of Italian gastronomic excellence over the years, becoming a point of reference for both Italian and foreign consumers. The GranTerre Group is one of the most important operators in the Italian agri-food sector.
