Over 6500 employees serve close to 70,000 students with solid, educational curricula and other opportunities for learning and growth.

Established in 1905, Jordan School District opened its doors with 3,000 students, 70 teachers and 20 community schools. Located in the southwest area of Salt Lake County, Jordan School District is one of Utah’s fastest growing school systems. It provides public education today for 57,000 students living in Bluffdale, Copperton, Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan and West Jordan who attend our 68 schools. Our motto, Lead, Educate, Inspire reflects who we are and what we are about. As our next chapter unfolds, our founding principle of providing a quality education and promoting lifelong learning will guide our future. Jordan School District will continue to lead the way in research-based curriculum and strategies. We believe education must be relevant and responsive to the ever-changing world. Alpine School District is the primary school district in northern Utah County in Utah, United States including the cities of Alpine, American Fork, Cedar Fort, Cedar Hills, Eagle Mountain, Fairfield, Highland, Lehi, Lindon, Orem, Pleasant Grove, Saratoga Springs, Vineyard, (as well as the portion of Draper that is located within Utah County). It includes all grades from kindergarten all through high school (K-12). As of 2022, there were 61 elementary schools, 14 junior high schools, 11 high schools, and 7 special purpose schools serving approximately 84,111 students, making it the largest school district in Utah.
