Located on a calm protected bay of Dead Lake in Otter Tail County Minnesota. Dead Lake has over 7900 acres of amazing fishing, wildlife viewing and areas for water fun. The resort offers 10 cabins and 8 recreational campsite next to the lake.

Michael & Carolyn Giorgio have owned and operated Cedarwood Lodge since 1989. They have two children, Holly, age 16 and Anthony, age 13. Their Golden Retriever's, Chester and Annie, rounds out the family. Before purchasing Cedarwood in the spring of 1989, Michael & Carolyn vacationed at Cedarwood Lodge many times. Their first stay was on their honeymoon in 1984. Returning annually through 1988 confirmed their desire to live and raise their family 'on the Mckenzie'.
