Grand River Film Festival Information

We love film. The Grand River Film Festival has been celebrating and inspiring the Waterloo Region community through the shared experience of film for the past 12 years. We run a 4-day film festival in May dedicated to bringing bold, reflective and inspiring films to Waterloo Region (Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo). We also run Cineseries from Sept. to May at the Cambridge Galaxy Cinema in partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Film Circuit. We bring the community local, Canadian and international films hosted throughout the region, pairing screenings with panels consisting of directors, film professionals, local interest groups and notable guest speakers. We recognize the power of creative content to connect people and are thrilled to act as a vehicle for the community to build relationships and host meaningful conversations within the Waterloo Region.
