The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County is part of a nationwide affiliation of over 4,000 local, autonomous organizations through Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) that serve almost 4 million youth annually across the nation. In 2012, The Chronicle of Philanthropy ranked BGCA as the nation's top youth organization for the 19th consecutive year and 18th among all non-profit organizations. We are excited to be part of an incredible organization and movement that impacts and changes countless lives. Since 1995, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County has been at the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances throughout Oklahoma City. Our Club is part of a nationwide affiliation of local, autonomous organizations through Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) working to help youth of all backgrounds - with special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances - develop the qualities they need to become responsible citizens and leaders. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County serves over 800 young people daily, has over 3,600 registered members and offers programs at four locations throughout Oklahoma County (Memorial Park at NW 36th and Western, Cesar Chavez Elementary at 600SE Grand, Santa Fe South at 53255 S. Pennsylvania and Telstar Elementary).

The Indian Gaming Regulatory Act, enacted by Congress in 1988, authorized the establishment of the National Indian Gaming Commission for the purpose of setting standards for, and regulating the conduct of, Indian gaming. The Comanche Nation Gaming Commission currently oversees gaming activity in four (4) gaming facilities. Gaming facilities are located in Lawton, Devol, Walter, and Richard Spur, Oklahoma. The Gaming Commission was established by the Comanche Nation in December 2005 in order to provide for the sound regulation of all gaming activities on lands within the jurisdiction of the Comanche Nation, in order to protect the public interest in the integrity of such gaming activities, to prevent improper or unlawful conduct in the course of such gaming activities, to strengthen tribal self-government and to promote economic self-sufficiency of the Comanche Nation. Its primary functions include ensuring the Comanche Nation’s gaming operations’ compliance with federal and tribal law, including internal control standards, conducting background investigations and approving/denying gaming licenses for individuals and vendors, and ensuring only approved games are offered to the public. In short, the Comanche Nation Gaming Commission serves to protect the Nation’s assets and ensure honesty and integrity of the gaming operations conducted by the Nation.

Murray State College, is a public, co-educational community college located in southeastern Oklahoma with campuses in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The college is named in honor of former Oklahoma Governor William H. "Alfalfa Bill" Murray. The College’s mission is to provide opportunities for student learning, personal growth, professional success and community enhancement. Murray State College offers associate degrees in science, arts and applied science. A bachelor's degree in gunsmithing technology is now offered as well. Murray State College serves a ten-county area which includes Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc counties. With campuses in Tishomingo and Ardmore, MSC serves more than 3,000 students annually.
