Record numbers of students are entering higher education, yet many graduate roles remain highly competitive, opaque, or inaccessible without the “right” connections. Too many talented graduates are underemployed, unaware of viable career pathways, or excluded from opportunities simply due to a lack of insider knowledge. This is where social mobility matters. Social mobility is the ability for individuals to move into roles and industries based on merit, not background, school, or network. We believe career access should not depend on who you know, but on what you can learn and how you apply it. Gradvisor is a social impact initiative designed to level the playing field. We connect students and graduates with real-world career insights, lived experiences, and trusted guidance from people already working across sectors and industries in the UK. We run a multi-university ambassador programme across City, University of London (St George’s), Royal Holloway (RHUL), King’s College London (KCL), University College London (UCL), and the University of Nottingham, ensuring our platform reflects diverse voices and lived experiences. We also collaborate with UK careers and education partners including 2020 Levels, CMD Careers, and others aligned with our mission. Our passion is helping young adults discover meaningful career opportunities and navigate the transition from university to professional life with clarity and confidence.
