Founded in 1979 by John Greif III with just a single airplane and two employees, Tropic has steadily grown to become the largest and most experienced airline in Belize. We now employ over 200 staff and offer over 200 daily scheduled flights. Since our inaugural flight over 40 years ago, Tropic Air has been a leader in the introduction of modern aircraft technology in the domestic market in Belize. We have played a key role in the promotion of the tourism industry within the country, and have always been committed to the growth of this sector. Tropic Air is dedicated to the highest quality of customer service, delivered with a sense of warmth, friendliness, individual pride, and company spirit. The success of our business strategy requires us to build on these foundations by focusing each day on the business, leisure and cargo markets and by driving efficiency and effectiveness.
