GR8TEK Inc. Information

GR8 TEK is an AgTech infrastructure and smart-energy company advancing the next generation of controlled-environment agriculture. Recognized as one of California’s Top 63 Startups of 2022, GR8 TEK began as an IoT cloud SaaS and rule-based energy management platform. Today, the company is applying that foundation to indoor farming, microgreens, organic food production, and scalable CEA systems designed to grow more with less energy, less waste, and greater operational control. At the center of the GR8 TEK platform are the SMRT CLOUD Vault and SMRT Virtual Micro Grid—integrated technologies developed to support off-peak and off-grid growing, intelligent power distribution, environmental monitoring, automation, and real-time crop management. Through SMRTLED+, GR8 TEK is changing how lighting is used in agriculture. Our systems give growers greater control over light direction, photoperiod, intensity, and spectral composition, helping optimize photosynthetic response, crop consistency, plant expression, and energy efficiency. Our expanding CEA ecosystem includes modular LED infrastructure, smart power management, AI-enabled monitoring, UV-based sanitation and preservation technologies, indoor grow systems, and closed-loop resource solutions that can integrate renewable energy, recovered heat, water, and carbon resources. GR8 TEK’s mission is clear: build practical, scalable agricultural infrastructure that lowers operating costs, strengthens food security, improves crop performance, and brings reliable food production closer to the communities that need it.
