GPS Auto Solutions Information

GPS Auto Solutions was created by three ASE Certified Master technicians. Founding partners Pete Garcia, Mike Poteet, and Ian Strong (GPS) lead a team of automotive enthusiasts. Mike Poteet has always been an auto service provider, starting as an apprentice way back in 1982 with Canadian Tire Corp. in Grande Prairie, Alberta Canada. His professional service continued when he was hired by the local GM dealership for a year. He then moved to Lodi, CA in 1988. Mike spent the next 11 years working for Mataga Olds Buick of Lodi as the shop foreman with Ian Strong and Pete Garcia. In 1999, he opened his first automotive shop called End of the Line Auto Repair. It was a successful operation. Actually, it was too successful and became too much to handle until 2007 when he sold the business. Peter and Ian continued working for Mataga until 2009 when GM corporate changes closed their dealership. Mike then joined forces with his former co-workers from Mataga to form GPS Auto Solutions. Since 2009, we've been here providing better auto service to the Lodi area, and have continued growing each year. Our busy repair facility is now up to 9 employees, including hybrid repair specialists.
