To add value to individuals, families, and groups of important people within our lives, gpost has some valuable functions available to anyone who downloads the free app. First, the PANIC BUTTON which allows the user to alert other gpost users within a 500-yard radius of an event, crisis or emergency as well as predefined emergency contacts or loved ones. Users can respond to the panic call by administering aid, contacting 911 or retreating from the situation. Users who are alerted can join a group to engage in two-way communication with others who choose to respond, in essence crowdsourcing personal safety and disruption management.
