GOV2U are non-profits working to develop ICT tools enabling citizens and civil society to participate both individually and collectively in the policy-input processes of parliamentary democracy. We also work to share knowledge and best practice in e-democracy. Our platforms are equiped with advanced eParticipation modules using geospatial information systems and mobile applications, to offer citizens a greater stake in political discourse, and to openly work together to find sustainable solutions. In doing so, GOV2U also assist institutions and legislative bodies become efficient and transparent. Our core activities involve: Customizing, adapting, implementing and maintaining open source enabling technologies in the framework of international e-Inclusion projects Researching, developing and deploying open source enabling technologies that facilitate the gathering and dissemination of the legislative information Collaborating with governments at the local, national and regional level towards the development of their network infrastructure – including appropriate organization, rules and procedures, strategic planning, operations and personnel policies, training for the personnel on ICT applications Disseminate the knowledge and to share the best practice through the organization of promotional events, meetings, seminars and publications, the regular participation in international conferences, seminars and workshops.
