GMI supported National Missionaries serve in 7 different prisons in Moldova and Transnistria, bringing hope for a renewed life in the Lord Jesus. They have weekly services with the ones that are saved and occasionally we join them for evangelistic and baptismal meetings. Together with four GMI supported National Missionaries we were able to witness and be part of the water baptismal service that took place in the Soroca Prison in September 2012, where 3 inmates made the decision to follow the Lord according to the Bible, "He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. - Mark 16:16. It was one of the greatest blessings to see Brother John, who was in prison for 7 years and released, returning with us to also be baptized and to testify and be a witness to those who remain in prison.
