Gootium is a canvas bag brand founded in 2012 and operated by Jarvis Tech Inc., based in Laguna Beach, California. We make vintage-style cotton and waxed canvas backpacks, rucksacks, messenger bags and duffles — the kind of bag that looks better after five years than it did on day one. Our design principle is unglamorous: pick heavier fabric than the category standard, use hardware that can be replaced rather than sealed in, and skip the features nobody uses. That approach has put our bags on screen in Marvel's Hawkeye, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew and Netflix's The Old Guard 2, where lived-in canvas does a job no new-looking bag can. We also partner with the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation, supplying backpacks to their State Park Junior Ranger Program. Over 2 million customers worldwide.
