In the early days of Palantir and Stripe, Peterson and Faith started to collaborate, bringing together people that had dreamed of starting their own company–whose every decision since they were young was towards this goal–for small events in places outside the Bay Area. From Canada to Singapore, we hosted technical talks and traveled with engineers working on the world’s toughest problems to find others that were staring down tenure, safety and short term gain when all they wanted was to change things. And be surrounded by others that did as well. We helped PayPal, Palantir and Facebook scale and dominate their markets. We built the early teams at Brex, JUUL, Skybox (Google) and GrabTaxi (Uber). From the first engineer, to the board, we found the people that would later become legends.
