For 50 years, Goodwin House Incorporated (GHI) has been reimagining aging. Our mission-driven, not-for-profit organization continues to earn a reputation for integrity, innovation and excellence in vibrant residential, community-living for older adults and for compassion and care along life’s continuum. Adults from all over the world and all around the National Capital Region select Goodwin House, making our communities abundant with diverse experiences, talents and interests. We invite you to explore employment opportunities with our two Life Plan Communities – Goodwin House Alexandria in Alexandria’s West End and Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads in Falls Church, Fairfax County (near Arlington), which include independent residential living as well as the full continuum of care. We also offer one of the first “at home” life care programs in the United States – Goodwin House at Home. Modeled after the continuing care concept in retirement communities, this unique program bundles an array of services and supports provided to members wherever they call home. GHI also owns and operates a growing Medicare-certified Palliative Care and Hospice program and a pioneering new model of nursing care and small house living at our Health Care Center on our Goodwin House Alexandria campus. In addition, GHI is the management agent for The Lewinsville Retirement Residences, Inc., serving McLean and Great Falls, Virginia. GHI advances its mission through a 501(c)(3) supporting foundation – the Goodwin House Foundation – that provides support for current and future residents in need and funds programs dedicated to seniors’ well-being and vibrant living.
