Goodwill Solutions Learning Academy CIC Information

Goodwill Solutions Learning Academy CIC is an approved training provider for the Department for Work and Pensions, a Main Apprenticeship training provider for the Education & Skills Funding Agency, a registered Training Centre for NVQ’s and pre-employment and is on the NHS list of approved Apprenticeship training organisations. Since 2016 the Learning Academy has been managing a partnership of 12 organisations across the county to deliver a Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities programme that is successfully supporting 1,000 learners to gain the skills they need. With police officers and County Council early years teams based on its premises it is also developing a hub with these and other stakeholders. Our vision: To enable those suffering disadvantage to access the support they need to improve their lives through education and employment opportunities. To create a vehicle which will deliver work experience programmes, vocational employment, pre-employment activities and many other socially motivated activities throughout the Goodwill Solutions CIC Group. We deliver meaningful social good through the creation and management of sustainable commercially focused activities within the Goodwill Solutions CIC Group and have developed a commercial business model that focuses on enterprise growth which we will use as a platform to provide our services across the group. The programmes that the Academy provides are either part or fully funded by the European Social Fund or Big Lottery Building Better Opportunities Programme.
