Good Systems Information

Good Systems is a brand new concept which is green from the inside out. Our aim is to bring you the best IT systems not just to complement each other and interface intelligently with users, but also to improve the sustainability of your organisation – as well as its IT systems. We recognise that the best IT solutions rely upon an increasingly complex mix of people, networks and hardware. Our vision for green IT comprises: * systems efficiency and purposing through process and organisational (re)structuring focus on end-user satisfaction * speedy and reliable document management * regulatory compliance *design for environmental sustainability and compliant disposal/recycling of electronic waste * improved working arrangements such as telecommuting, virtualisation of servers, optimised energy use, and thin client solutions * above all, measuring the solution’s return on investment (ROI) and optimised use of (renewable) energy through green metrics, assessment tools and improved methodology
