Good Reading Guide Information

The Good Reading Guide is an exciting new development to help readers source quality literature for adults and children, offering the assurance that every book placed in the subject categories is researched, reviewed and recommended. We have an expanding team of researchers who read a variety of genres in order to compile recommended reading lists of literature new and old. We recommend books that contribute to readers' culture and character and are broadly compatible with Christian values. And they're not all classics! We run ‘book tastings’ where we brief a captive audience on which new books are best for whom, explaining the unique quality of each book and who would best appreciate it. Book tastings have been highly effective in helping people to match the right book with the right person at the right time. We are inundated with requests for recommendations for specific gifts: something for my 14 year old son who likes adventure but is a reluctant reader; something really new for my brother-in-law who loves biographies and has read everything; something for my friend who needs a ‘pick-me-up’; something for me – a nice, easy read… So we've put all our reviews and recommendations into a searchable guide that matches highly recommended books with the right reader. New reviews and recommendations are added every week, building an ever growing collection of thousands of titles across a wide variety of genres.
