Captain Don Marchi’s hidden passion is the “The dance” while you are at sea. The dance between the wind and sea and the artistry of being in the elements. Captain Don Marchi’s goal is to share this magic and build a legacy of joy for the sport of sailing with you to pass on to your friends, family and team. Our yacht chartering services include sunset sails, team building and sailing activities, private yacht charters and overnight adventures to Santa Catalina Island on a legendary blue water cruiser Gone Sailing Charter cruisers are CEO’s, active professionals, adventurists, thrill seekers, sailing students and people who are passionate and interested in learning more about sailing. What makes Gone Sailing Charters unique? Gone Sailing Charter services include open water and near coastal sailing where most other yacht charter services in San Diego focus on sailing the bay. Gone Sailing Charters is the only open water Yacht Chartering Service in Mission Bay. Due to demand, Gone Sailing is now offering a unique ASA certification class that allows students to enroll in 101, 103, and 104 and be certified in one week of class and sailing adventure onboard quality sailing vessels.
