Gold Creek Films offers a wide variety of programming including documentary films, corporate projects and now audio/video touring CDS/DVDs. Most recently Gold Creek is producing Entertaining and Informative Touring CDs for Nevada. The first was "Come Alive on 95" taking visitors on the route along Western Nevada's north-south corridor. The second was "Adventures in the Land of Awes" - a tour through central and southern Nevada featuring the historic and scenic sites along the way. Gold Creek believes that the stories of places will draw people to visit - and once they get there will enhance their experience. Having won awards from the Houston World Fest, International Television Association and the National Education Media Association. Gold Creek Films seeks to educate, inform, enlighten and entertain people through all of its projects. Gold Creek Films is currently working with the Autry National Center in Los Angeles to develop a major project on the history of Death Valley Titled "Death Valley, An American Mirage." The project includes a film, National Touring Exhibition, Book and Soundtrack. Beginning with our first production, Death Valley Memories, producer Ted Faye gathered the stories of old-timers who knew Death Valley in earlier times. But desert history is fascinating and so are the railroads. The Great Desert Railroad Race tells the story of two mining giants racing to the gold fields. And, of course, the Twenty Mule Team of Death Valley tells the history of borax mining and 20 Mule Team Borax marketing. And no history of Death Valley would be complete without the prospectors and tales of death. And then there are the mules and the people who love them.
