Our work primarily consists of, but is not limited to, residential, commercial, mixed use and cultural building types.We offer pre-design services such as initial feasibility studies, assistance with programming and space planning. Architectural services are sequenced into the conceptual / schematic design phase, design development phase, construction document phase and the construction observation phase.PARAVANT is encouraging clients to certify buildings as a “Passive House Basic”, “Passive House Plus” or “Passive House Premium”, “EnerPHit” remodel or “Low Energy Building” with the international Passive House Institute. Other certifications such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), or Living Building Challenge are available.

Fontan Architecture is a New York City based architecture firm. At Fontan Architecture we strive to create architecture that can inspire, enhance the well being of its inhabitants, and promote balance with its environment. We believe architects are charged with the responsibility of creating spaces that complement their sites, and thoroughly fulfill their purpose while upholding a dedication to environmental, social, and community concerns. Link to CdRA Project List Sara Castle del Rio, founder and principal of CdRA, has been practicing architecture for over 30 years. Saras areas of expertise are design, master planning, residential, and commercial architecture. Saras career began as a designer and urban planner for architectural firms in Boston, MA. From there, she moved into residential design/build, working on a variety of luxury home projects. Link to SCdR Prior Design . In 2004, Sara established CdRA. As design principal overseeing all projects, Sara works with a team of building professionals on renovations, additions and new construction of beautiful homes and commercial projects across New England. Sara received her bachelors degree in economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA, and masters degree in architecture from Washington University, St. Louis, MO. Joseph Taormina, Architect, collaborates with CdRA. Joes expertise is in architectural design and construction management. Joe has over 20 years experience working on residential design/build projects, which include renovations, additions and new construction. Joe brings experience in all aspects of the building process, a practical approach, and established relationships with some of the North Shores best builders and craftsmen to each new project. Joe received his bachelors degree in architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA.
