Goergen-Mackwirth Co., Inc. was founded on September 16, 1916 by 3 individuals as a small sheet metal start-up. 1916 was the year of the first taxi service, first assembly line production of cars (Fords were selling for $290), and Woodrow Wilson was the President of the United States. Throughout our history, the focus of our business has remained the same: custom metal fabrication and industrial contracting. From the original 3 founders to the current workforce, we continue to remain focused on Consistently Exceeding Customer Expectations, enabling us to persist as a leader in the industry throughout Buffalo, Rochester, Western New York (WNY) and Upstate New York.
