The mission of PPA is simply to give high school aged soccer players an inside look into college soccer and allow them to work with and be seen by coaches from some top schools in the US. With a talented staff and terrific facilities, PPA is the most beneficial soccer experience in the country for youth players looking to play in college. Mark Mallon, CEO and Founder of The Soccer Institute ( TSI ) has a distinguished career history of success including youth, high school, ODP, US Soccer Development Academy Director experience and NCAA Division I coaching at Rutgers, Yale University, and Head Men's Soccer Coach at the University of California - Berkeley (CAL Golden Bears) orchestrating one of the nations best national ranking turnarounds in history - taking CAL from 145th to #2 in October 1996 with wins over UCLA, Stanford, Santa Clara and U. Washington, Mark Mallon offers a unique combination of coaching experience, fundraising, and program administration at the youth and collegiate level prior to The Soccer Institute, Mark has attained the USSF A license, NSCAA/USC Premier & National Diploma in the USA and traveled to Europe for the FA Badge - England at Lilleshall, and FA Badge - Scotland at Inverclyde Largs. On the development side, TSi founder Mark Mallon spearheaded the capital campaign at UC Berkeley for the Goldman Soccer Field in Witter Stadium, established the adidas Rolling Thunder Scholarship for Men's Soccer at CAL, and developed the seventy five acre campus at The Soccer Institute in Ohio.
