GlobalMET is an association registered in Hong Kong, with consultative status at the IMO, carrying out activities and research in the field of maritime training and education. Some of GlobalMET's objectives are to - 1) Provide a forum for the exchange of views among members; 2) Foster, develop and maintain close cooperation between and among members on matters relating to maritime education and training, including maritime research and development 3) Formulate a common stand on issues of interest related to maritime education, training, research and development GlobalMET Limited: A Hong Kong not-for-profit company - Incorporation No:. 3025997 Membership Advantages 1) Full Membership is open to maritime education and training providers. 2) Associate Membership is open to organisations or individuals not providing maritime education and training services as a core activity, but wishing to receive information about GlobalMET's activities. 3) Individual Membership is open to individuals interested in being involved in the development of maritime education and training. 4) Honorary Membership is awarded by the GlobalMET Board of Directors to individuals and institutions that have made a significant contribution to maritime education and training. 5) The annual subscription for Full Member and Associate Member is USD 600. There is a Joining Fee of USD 200. 6) The Annual Subscription for Individual Member is USD 100.
