Jürgen Stolzlechner, the founder and director of GSD-S, is an accomplished international development professional who has focused his career on green and sustainable solutions for public and private sector organisations. He studied Environmental Policy and Regulation at London School of Economics (LSE) and also holds university degrees in communication, economics, and sociology. He has many years of experience in working with International Finance and Development Institutions in Europe, Asia, and Africa in the field of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG). A particular focus of his work has been on policies and projects of the institutions of the European Union, but he has also been involved with the United Nations, the World Bank, and national development agencies such as the German GIZ and the French AFD. GSDS strives for tangible impacts of international development projects based on realistic expectations and high-quality delivery.
