In doing so, the Global State Group focuses entirely on the development of real estate in North America and Europe. Founded in 1994 under the name Stone Hedge; Global State focused for many years on American real estate opportunities. Since 2001 ample opportunities have arisen for investments in Eastern European countries; these countries and markets many of which were inaccessible are now enjoying high growth and offer good investment opportunities. Global State Investments has initiated more than 73 project funds during the last twelve years with an investment value of US$ 1.3 billion and equity contributions from the private and company investor of approx US$ 350 million. The organization is proud of her track record which has been responsible for completing more than 41 funds with an average rate of return of 22% per annum before taxation. The current strategy for new projects in the United States concentrates on housing developments in regions with above average growth and stable employment markets. In Europe the strategy is more diversified with projects in the housing sector, retail, offices and logistic centers.
