“Trusted Advisors To The Sports World” Global Sports Advocates, LLC is a sports law firm devoted to the protection of athlete’s rights, the delivery of trusted advice on sports regulation and policy and the management of crisis situations. The firm was founded in 2014 in Portland, Maine, by sports lawyer Paul Greene. Paul has represented athletes worldwide in more than 20 sports, including Olympians Michael Phelps, Seth Wescott and Jamie Anderson. A native of Long Island, N.Y., Paul has handled sports law matters around the world, including numerous hearings before the international Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland, known as the “Supreme Court for Sports Law.” Cases range from Olympic eligibility to anti-doping, contract and intellectual property disputes, Title IX violations and an array of other sports litigation matters. Global Sports Advocates also will provide advice to athletes, governing bodies and companies that need help navigating the complex web of sports regulation and policy.
