Global Institute for Energy, Environment and Sustainability (GIEES) is an organization based in the United States with a mission to promote and develop sustainable cities and communities throughout the world: through partnerships, innovative solutions and technologies, strategic planning and targeted action. At its core, GIEES's purpose is rooted in practical and sustainable engineering solutions. In order to be successful, GIEES considers the socio-cultural dimensions of the community, local project ownership, and other requirements for long-term sustainability. GIEES's vision for a more sustainable future in the world drives much of our work, including everyday practices of our people and our volunteer efforts for sustainability in the community; and we live: to create, enhance and sustain energy and the natural/social environments. GIEES has plans to successfully serve a wide range of clients including the federal and state agencies, leading foundations, Fortune 500 corporations, non-governmental organizations, and multilateral development agencies such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Development Bank for Latin America (CAF), the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), US Agency for International Development (USAID), and all of the United Nations (UN) affiliated organizations. With a result-driven team and breadth of experiences gained over the past 30 years, GIEES is uniquely positioned among consulting organizations to design and implement projects in energy, water, environment and sustainability. We are ready to have major operations, particularly in Asia, Europe, Latin America and Africa.
