In September 2020 a historic peace agreement was signed between Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. This agreement, also known as the Abraham Accords Peace Agreement, is the first of its kind in the GCC region. Both the UAE and Bahrain are part of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which is a political and economic alliance of six countries in the Arabian Peninsula including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Global Concord was established to promote business collaboration between Israel and the GCC region and support entrepreneurs and organizations from these countries who are looking to realize the immense potential of the Israeli-GCC markets synergy.
