As a privately owned business with a 50-year heritage in manufacturing, Glen Dimplex Group is alive with entrepreneurial spirit, and innovation and driven by a steadfast belief in people and partnerships. Almost five decades ago, Martin Naughton and four colleagues established Glen Electric in Newry, Northern Ireland. Just four years later with the acquisition of Dimplex, a company eight times Glen’s size and a brand leader in electric heating; Glen Dimplex was born. Since the Group’s foundation it has continued to grow organically and through acquisitions of much-loved brands across the world. Today, Glen Dimplex Group works across an international footprint, connecting more than 8,000 people working together in 20 countries across four key sectors of Heating and Ventilation, Flame, Precision Cooling and Consumer Appliances.
