With the help of environmental visionary David Brower, Glen Canyon Institute (GCI) was founded in 1996 to restore Glen Canyon and a free-flowing Colorado River. GCI is a nonprofit organization working to educate the public and decision makers, advocate science-based public policy, and organize positive citizen activism.
